This week we repaired some potholes in front of my mother's house (27 Stark) and then a few more heading towards Windemere. We filled as many holes as we could at a total cost of $600.
There are 34 property owners on Stark Road. Figure if we ask for $200 from each property owner and see what we raise? I will use this blog to post monies raised , from whom and what repairs will be next.
Keep this one thing in mind. Even if you think converting to a public street makes the most sense, I just can not see it happening over the next 3-4 years if not longer. Bottom line, we can just let the road keep getting worse and eventually have the road paved at a cost that is ridiculous or we can start fixing the road ourselves today at a much lower cost.
We will see.
